Considering The Essential Films

This salon was recorded on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Dallas’ popular Buli Cafe on the Cedar Springs Strip. Today we’re Considering The Essential Films that everyone should see. All film lovers have their list and none would be exactly the same. Films, or movies, or flicks, are the most impactive art form of the past 100 years. They show us back to ourselves as we were, as we are, and as we might become. Joining RICK VANDERSLICE, around the square table in the Library Nook, are three film lovers and Buli Salon regulars: writer and blogger RJ JACKSON; cultural observer ROY CALHOUN; LARRY PARRIGIN, creator of Gaily Forward Toons on the web.
